Finding Your Book

Where is my book?

Your book arrives by email when generation completes. The link in the email opens your book on storyfork.ink, and it stays there as long as fork is around. Save that email or bookmark the link.

I can't find the email.

Search your inbox for "your book is ready" from hello@storyfork.ink. If you still can't find it, email us at hello@storyfork.ink with the address you used and we'll send you the direct link.

I'm on a different device — where are my books?

Your library shows books generated in the browser you're using. To see books from other devices, use the link in the email we sent when each one was created. We're working on a way to view all your books from any device — it's coming.

Can I save or download my book?

Yes. Every book has a Download PDF and Download ePub button at the top of the reader. Save them anywhere you keep things you want to read again.

How Fork Works

How long does the book take to write?

About five to eight minutes after you submit your answers. We'll email it to you when it's ready, so you don't have to wait on the page.

Can I close the page during generation?

For now, please keep the page open while your book is written. Closing it will stop generation. We're working on a version that runs in the background — but in V1, stay with us for a few minutes.

What if the book fails to generate?

Email us at hello@storyfork.ink within 48 hours and we'll either re-generate your book or refund your purchase. Technical hiccups happen — we'll make it right.

About Your Book

Can I edit my book?

Not in V1. The book you receive is yours, as written. If something feels significantly off — wrong name, missing detail, broken text — email us and we'll work with you.

Can I generate the same book twice?

No. Each book is generated once, in real-time, from your specific answers. If you submit the same answers tomorrow, you'll get a different book.

Why does the book sometimes feel a certain way?

fork uses AI to write your book. The AI is good but not perfect. Some books land more than others. If yours felt off, that's worth telling us — we read every note.

What are the three paths?

Path A is the hopeful version of one direction. Path B is the cautionary version of the other. Path C is one fork found in what you didn't say — the path you didn't write down but were carrying anyway. Path C stays sealed until you click to open it.

Privacy

Do you read my book?

No. We commit to not reading your answers or your books unless you specifically share them with us for support. Read our full Privacy Policy for the details.

How long do you keep my answers?

The raw answers you submitted are deleted after 30 days. Your book itself stays in our database indefinitely so you can keep reading it — until you ask us to delete it.

Can I delete my book?

Yes. Email hello@storyfork.ink and we'll delete your book and any associated data within 30 days.

Practical

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final, except for technical failures on our end. If your book fails to generate, contact us within 48 hours. See our Terms of Service for the full policy.
